Yesterday, students at GFW Middle School and High School attended a presentation by public speaker and musician Reggie Dabbs who had some powerful words of wisdom for students including "You can’t change your past, but you can change your future." It was a great treat for our students!


The GFW Pioneer Express FFA students that went to the national convention had a great time! They visited a cranberry farm, a honey farm, and much more! Check out the local papers or the district website tomorrow for more information .

Congratulations to GFW Seniors Eden Messerli and Desirae Schmidt who were selected as the winners of the Voice of Democracy Audio Essay Contest! The award was presented by Ron Trebelhorn, Commander of the VFW and WInthrop Honor Guard and by Dan Meyer, the past state VFW Commander during the Veterans Day Program.

It was an amazing day at GFW Middle School and High School today with a powerful Veterans Day Program! There were student performances, a moving speech by Social Studies teacher Mr. Lane Tande, and more.





Today's Veterans Day program at GFW Elementary was a wonderful celebration of real life heroes!



Students in Mr. Santos' 9th grade science class were testing the pH level different samples. Great work!



A huge congratulations to GFW graduate Andrew Burns who recently earned his American FFA Degree, the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization!

Students in Ms. Oliveros and Ms. Pompluns classes worked in stations this week!


Students were working in small groups to peer review their fall writing stories in Ms. Jutz's class!

Students at GFW Elementary School had a tasty start to the day with strawberry peach or peach overnight oats along with lemon bread which has become a fan favorite!
