Students at GFW Elementary learn about the T-Bird Way and how to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe in different parts of the school and in the community. Second grader Jacob wanted to do a drawing to help everyone at school do their best and he did an awesome job!

Community Ed Trip: Stillwater Fall Colors Boat Cruise on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Hope is eternal, and we’ll hope for beautiful fall colors for this annual fall favorite! Community Ed Class: Home Alone - Monday, Sept. 23 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Students in fourth grade or older will learn the basics of staying home alone and coming/going from home safely. Topics such as appliance safety, responsibilities, first aid and more. There will be time allowed for questions and answers from attendees. The cost is $45 per student, please register by Sept. 16.

Congratulations to some of our GFW Seniors who had some great achievements at the Minnesota State Fair this year! Eden Messerli won reserve champion advanced showmanship and her goat Kasota won reserve champion unrecorded grade senior doe. Mitchell Olson who was the Champion Senior showman and made the Purple Ribbon 4-H Auction with his dairy crossbred steer. Abby Willegal showed poultry in the FFA show and had Champion ducks as well as reserve champion overall poultry. Way to go!
