Today is World Diabetes Day! The theme for World Diabetes Day this year is Access to Diabetes Care. In many cases, type 2 diabetes and its complications can be delayed or prevented by adopting and maintaining healthy habits. When not detected and treated early, diabetes can lead to serious and potentially life-threatening complications.

Joe Roos was the guest speaker last week at the GFW elementary school Veterans Day program. In addition to being a veteran, he wrote and illustrated a children's book called "The Lost Little Pug," which he read to the students. Students sang a song in honor of veterans, and many students honored the Veterans in their lives by turning in a form that was then posted on the "We Love Veterans" wall!

Congratulations and great job to everyone involved with The Play That Goes Wrong with three amazing shows over the weekend! This is a greatly talented group of students!
