Mrs. Hartmann's kindergarten students had a blast celebrating the 100th day of school with activities, dress up, and lots of learning!
Every school year, the Minnesota State High School League awards the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award to high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.
This year GFW Public Schools is proud to have two amazing students be recognized with this award.

The Girl's basketball team pulled off a big win last night in the brand new gym against Sibley East in a non-conference game!

There is no school with district offices closed on Monday, Feb. 16 for Presidents' Day. We will see everyone at the PreK-12 Facility in Gibbon on Tuesday!

Julian from Playworks was on-site in GFW yesterday to assist the fourth and fifth grade junior coaches. They learned some new games and were able to play them with younger students during recess!
Middle School and High School students were able to take a tour of the new facility today to get a preview of the spaces that they will be learning in beginning next week.

In last night's Tomahawk Conference match up with Sleepy Eye St. Mary's, Cole Jacobson became the all-time leading scorer in GFW Boys Basketball history. Cole surpassed the previous record of 1,882 career points, set by Seth Schuette during the 2015-16 season.
GFW proudly congratulates Cole on this outstanding achievement and also recognizes all of his current and former teammates who played a role along the way. This milestone is a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to the GFW Basketball program.
