Every school year, the Minnesota State High School League awards the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award to high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

This year GFW Public Schools is proud to have two amazing students be recognized with this award.

First up is Keyden Buboltz who is extremely active in sports and activities and a true testament of what the Triple A Award stands for. We are proud to congratulate Keyden for this wonderful achievement!

Join us at the Boy's Basketball game on Friday, Feb. 20 where we will recognize our Triple A Award Winners.

In last night's Tomahawk Conference match up with Sleepy Eye St. Mary's, Cole Jacobson became the all-time leading scorer in GFW Boys Basketball history. Cole surpassed the previous record of 1,882 career points, set by Seth Schuette during the 2015-16 season.

GFW proudly congratulates Cole on this outstanding achievement and also recognizes all of his current and former teammates who played a role along the way. This milestone is a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to the GFW Basketball program.

Congratulations Cole and Go Firebirds!
