NHS students have been doing activities with students from GFW Middle School on Friday mornings to build relationships and collaborate together!
We like to share little glimpses into the school day here, and this is one of our favorites. To celebrate almost achieving the fundraising goal for the Read-A-Thon, Principal Thompson and some special guests took part the "prize" activity that was selected by students, kissing a goat! If the full goal is met, Principal Thompson will sing instead of talk for 24 hours!
Special thanks to Casey Prochniak for providing the beautiful baby goats from her farm Can-Ter Vine Dairy Goats!
GFW Elementary is wrapping up the Read-A-Thon and there's still time to donate! Students celebrated with an assembly today. These students all raised more than $250 and Paisley was celebrated as the top fund raiser!
Each of the students who raised $250 or more also have the opportunity to name one of 11 baby goats that were born on February 28 at Can-Ter Vine Dairy Goats.
Students in fourth grade worked on a project in STEAM class to prepare a device that makes sound waves visible! They set up in the gym and were able to share their projects with other students who visited. Way to go!
